Handcrafted  Fine Silver Jewellery in Northern Ireland
Precious Metal Clay is an exciting new material for jewellers invented a decade ago in Japan. PMC is a clay-like material made of fine silver particles, water and an organic binder. It can be worked like clay and when fired in a kiln the water and binder burn off, the silver particles fuse together leaving 999 pure fine silver worthy of hallmarking.

I use liver of sulphur to darken silver, highlight texture or achieve colour in certain designs. Some of my jewellery has a thin layer of 24ct gold applied by heat and friction, this is an ancient Korean technique called keum-boo.

Below are examples of my handcrafted pure silver jewellery made from Precious Metal Clay (PMC). Please wait for images to appear.
